Autumn Has Landed

One of the avenue of trees in Anglesey Abbey gardens today.

The new header picture is of the boys when we arrived this afternoon, taken just moments after I turned them loose in the great gardens. They were constantly in motion... running up and down the avenues ... through the grounds and ditches full of leaves ... hunting for conkers and sticks ... giggling and climbing over garden statues ... and runnning up and rolling down the old fish pond hills with joy.

As an added bonus, they both fell asleep in the car on the way home and stayed that way for an hour.

It was such a nice afternoon, we may go back tomorrow.

Have a great weekend, all.

Just stunning. It makes me want to get outside. (It's dark right now, so I won't. But tomorrow...!)
