Identity Crisis

I'll admit that I've been waffling on what to re-dub the wee ones for blog theme purposes. I really like several of the proposed combinations, such as Big Sheep and Sheeplet, Ramekin and Lambchop, Big-Baaa and Boo-Baaa, so making a decision has been kind of hard.

I must have too much time on my hands if this is taking up any real thought time, no?

Anyway, back to my indecision that's being refocused into a decision.

Once my husand threw Big-Baaa and Boo-Baaa out into the realm of possibility, renaming Baby Boo became a lot easier for me, because I'm rather attached to 'Baby Boo' as a moniker, as many of my readers seem to be, too. By adopting Baby Boo-Baaa, I can continue to use 'Baby Boo' essentially, until I eventually drop out the 'Baby' portion sometime after his first birthday.

MF is another matter. While Big-Baaa would make the most matching sense, especially since it kind of sounds like 'Big Brother' in baby-speak, I'm not wildly excited about it. Plus my very bossy two year old isn't much of a follower these days, forever trying to get other people to do what he wants to do, so anything to do with 'sheep' doesn't seem to be very appropriate either. And nobody, including myself, seemed too fond of the 'ram' names, other than Ramlet. . .

Except for Ramekin, as suggested by Alpha Dogma, and immediately seconded by many, even though it really has nothing to do with sheep. Just sounds like it. :-)

So, after turning it about it my head a bit, I've decided that these two monikers make me smile the most, so Ramekin and Baby Boo-Baaa it is!

Thanks to everyone for all their input!

Ramekin :-) I like. And Boo remains! :-) Boo-Baa!
I will take sometime to get used to the monikers, but they're cute and themed with Ewe. What's G going to be though?

It's an oddly attractive word, ramekin. (Is that because it makes me think of creme brulee?)

just as long as they keep being overheard on the couch, call them anything you'd like! Hey! I wonder what they might have to say about their new names.... ?? ;)

Ok, I'll try to keep with the program.

I had enough trouble coming up with their names in the first place, I wasn't creative enough for blog names.

Ramekin and Baby Boo-Baa. I love it!

I'm thinking about renaming the Peanut, now that she is almost a year old (ack!) and is not such a small Peanut anymore.

Ramekin - so cute!
I should probably rename The Baby, since she's 2 1/2 and all, but I'm tooooo lazy.

Love your choices!

There are days that I want to use my daughters real names but I force myself to hold back.
