MF: Good grief. Here we go again. Can't a guy just eat his apple in peace?
Baby Boo: What? Where? Where are we going?
MF: The couch, of course. Daddy's out of the country again, so Mommy's got the camera out to take pictures of us.
Baby Boo: The camera?!? Oh, goody! Look at me! Look at me!
MF: D*mn camera hog. I'm getting really tired of that Happiest D*mn Baby in the Whole Wide World routine thing you've got going on, Baby Boo. It's rather tiresome.
Baby Boo: Ha ha ha! You're just jealous. And you said 'd*mn!' Daddy said that's a naughty word.
MF: Big whoop. And I learned it from Mommy, anyway, so she can't get that offended about it. And Daddy's out of the country again, so he'll never know.
Baby Boo: Daddy! Smile for Daddy! I'm smiling for Daddy!
MF: Yeah, you can smile all you want Baby Boo, but too bad you're not super cool like me.
Baby Boo: What do you mean I'm not cool? I'm cool!
MF: No, you're not. You need sunglasses to be truly cool. Everyone knows that, Baby Boo.
Baby Boo: Oh. {pause, then lunge}
MF: No way! Hands off!
Baby Boo: Gimme! Mommy! I want to be cool like MF!
Baby Boo: Ha! Look! Mommy got me sunglasses just like yours, MF.
MF: Figures.
Baby Boo: So now I'm super cool, too!
Baby Boo: {pause, then a whisper} Does everything look dark to you, MF?
MF: Maybe a little, but that's the price you pay for coolness, Baby Boo. Maybe you're really just inherently uncool.
Baby Boo: Hurrrumph. Well, I don't have to be able to see much to still be super cute. See? I can still smile for Daddy!
MF: Suck up. {heavy sigh} Sooo uncool.
